S13 Sr20det Blacktop into a s13 240sx HB

Heres the deal about three months ago me and my friend swapped out my stock KA automatic and swapped a s13 sr20det blacktop 5 speed. Everything is connected the way it should be, the engine turns on but as soon as accelerating it bogs then dies?I cant really check how high the rpms because the old ka tachometer and rpm meter is not compatible with the sr20 but it doesnt feel as if the rpms go any higher past 3k then just bogs and gets stuck and eventually turns off. I was wondering if it can be injectors misfiring? I have no idea me and my friend are stumped. We also checked the following parts for workability, MAF, Spark Plugs, Ignitor Chip, everything should be fine Im stumped any help from anyone would be very appreciated thanks.....

Vacuum or boost leak

Ok I will check to see if there is any Vacuum or Boost leaks but other than that is there any other way of determining why my SR just doesnt want to hit high rpms oh and also you can hear it backfiring....

Dose it sputter at all? Honestly sounds like MAF to me, my car was doing the same thing, just swapped maf's clean the plug, reset the ecu, and that fixed it.

Chaw wee yes my engine does sputter as if fluctuating and it cant get to high rpms then chokes out then dies... I tried my friends MAF and still the same problem im stumped...
