hey guys.....this might be pretty dumb but my gas tank door wont close its missing some piece.....its a 1996......just worried about some slut putting some coca cola in my tank....tips?:aw:

its probably the screw that holds the latching cable in place. check that first

its a pretty simple mechanism. you should be able to figure it out. if you cant then sell your car and get something that wont need a lot of work. if your too lazy to fix it just get a locking gas cap.

i've been using re-useable zipties to hold mine closed for about 3 weeks now haha, u'd never know unless u climb in my trunk and look back in behind the quarter panel, only shitty thing is u have to open ur trunk everytime u get gas haha
