particularly thier rotors. obviously :doh: they make pads too. but what about the rotors? i never heard anyone here use them, since search didnt come up with anything. i looked a few reviews for other cars but i want opinions of EBC Sport Grooved Rotors ob OUR cars. :bowdown:

I believe Brembo blank rotors are the best you can get: bigger contact patch. Also, you'll almost never push the car enough to benefit from slotted and/or cross-drilled rotors.

If you want better braking performance, look to pads, not rotors.

Cheapest place to buy rotors for stock 240 brakes is nopi.com

Slots are for pad surface cleaning. Cross-drilled is for improved feel. I don't think that you have to be pushing it that hard to benefit from either of those.

Also, the term is not "contact patch", it is called "swept area". It is not determined by the rotor, but by the pad.

If you want more braking torque, different modulation feel or initial bite, upgrade your pads. Unless you want to take the leap to big brake kit which changes the overall leverage of the braking system.

If you want fade resistance (from heat), upgrade your rotors, calipers, fluid.
