View Full Version : So where do I go from here? (Steering Hub Content)

Got my new (used) NRG short hub today to replace the awful eBay one that was on my car when I bought it. But I'm at a little crossroad, I have pretty much everything off that I can get off, the 19mm nut that looks like it should hold on the entire assembly, and all of the old hub that I could get off. I can see the part where the splines for the NRG hub are supposed to go, however the old hub is still on there. I was about to reach for the hammer and then figured I should probably ask up here first haha, so how do I get this damn thing off?

Thanks for all of the help guys, sorry all of my threads are asking about stuff. I promise once I learn more about the car I will contribute to the community, just gotta learn my shit first.

Thread the nut back on like 3 threads, then put wheel back on and tug that shit. Nut is so

Hammer was to hit the back of the hub. I ended up getting it off, was just a pain in the ass. Having issues getting my hub on though doesn't want to slide on to those splines... And about the premie membership I'm definitely new to the 240, but I'm always down to help out a community, I used to be a big contributor on VWVortex.
