if you like the look, and have to replace your whole front end anyway, i see no reason not to go with the silvia conv.

this is all a matter of an opinion...it just depends on what you like...it's kind of like asking your mom, "hey mom, what do i want for dinner?"...remember it's your car...if you were taking votes, i'd get the flip lights...i'm probably one of few people who don't like the sil-80...

the sil80's are nice.. but i prefer the popup lights myself. why do you need new fenders? did you get in an accident? i would think a silvia conversion with stock eveything would cost 1k.. atleat just for the parts.. and there painting it.. and if you wanted aftermarket parts..

Something about flip-up lights just does it for me personally. I guess they just seem sportier.

I like the sil-80 look. If not I like the glass covered lights that fit in where the pop ups go(eastbear?). It is all preference though. good luck

The popups look much more refined than the silvia front (imho). The Silvia front looks like it came offa an old mitsubishi

I like pop ups.. they somehow seem more unique.. though ppl think they are ugly..or old.. i think their pretty sweet when you know what to appreciate. The Sil- front alright.. might as well go for an S15 front if you want to go conversion.
the biggest part of doing a sileighty swap is getting the hood. The hood costs an arm and a leg to get shipped over here. I think for the price of the hood you can get a fiber glass one made. Personally I don't like the sileighty with the regular stock front end. I like the one with the NISMO front end, its stock also but it looks a whole lot better.

If you have a coupe Id go Silvia front end, if hatch Id stay with the popups...I think the fixed light conversions make our cars look like Z32's. My 2
silvia front ends are the one reason i would want an s13 over a 14.. they r the sweetest lookin thangs out there imho.. of course,, s15 headlights on a s14 look even sweeter <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>
