Sup all, well i just recently found out that a friend i sold my old school volk GTP's is possibly interested in selling them since he is not sure if he still plans on getting an s14.

Now that i acquired project S13 that my brother never finished, i'm trying to figure out if they will fit with a smaller tire size. Here is the spec on the wheels.

F: 17x8 +32 offset 225/40
R: 17x9 +32 offset maybe +33 with 275/45

If the wheels are going to fit offset wise, i was thinking of moving the front tires in the back, and getting a set of 215's for the front.

To all wheel gurus pls let me know if this offset will work on s13 body. Btw, i will have to do a 5 lug conversion to make them fit since they are 5x114.3

Tks to all in advance,

Ismar

The wheels should fit but that 275 in the back is pretty crazy, that would probably rub.

In the front that might not clear some coilovers if plan to buy them, but close enough that you could clear with a spacer.

Ohh yeah.. 275 is monster.. it looked so sweet on my S14.. ahh even the thought of that car going through my head makes me want to cry.. thats the only car that i totalled due to lack of sleep and being exhausted. To make it short flew right off the fwy at like 90mph hit a tree and almost landed on the buildings parking lot next to the fwy if it wasnt for the metal vence to hold the car.

But back the topic lol, i do plan on running coilvers actually. What i would like to know is following. With +32 offset in the front will that will stick inside? Then if it doesnt clear the coilover i would just get a spacer to make more room right?

The other day i test fited my friends wheels, 4x114.3 pattern.

16x7 F +22
16x9 R +33

Both fit perfectly flush with the fenders. So rear 17x9 should fit right? Same offset as bellow just run smaller tire. Now the front has a greater offset but on the 240SX does that mean the wheel will sit closer to suspension?

17*9+32 should fit with 225s with almost no problem. you MAY have to roll your fenders, but most likely will not. "supa flush" for 17*9 is around +25, and then you'd have to run 215s with rolled fenders. fronts sound perfect... in fact, I might consider a 5 or 10mm spacer to make it look more similar to the rear.
(I currently run 15*8.5 +12 in the rear with 205/60/15s and don't rub with home-rolled fenders)

ohh hell yeah... good to know.. so i might even run a bigger tire in the back then 235 maybe 245 and just roll the fenders.. i totall have no problem doing so..

Anf for the front i'll do the spacer as you suggested to make both of them sit as flush as possible with the fender.

Hmm.. now i just have to figure out a way to bribe my friend in selling them :-)

Peace!

i got a question cuz i searched but never found my answer....
can 17x9 +20offset and tires 215/40 fit on an s13 with just fenders rolled and not pulled? im thinking more about the fronts but would want an answer for the rears as well. thanks in advance

Camber makes all the difference. The biggest clearance problems are the wiring harness and the body seam in the fenderwell.

Otherwise, I put 245/40 on a 17x9 +10 on rolled stock front fenders. Rears are the same size tire and wheel but +20 and fit well without huge camber.

Your wheels are too big for your tires. Baby Jesus is crying.

i run 17x9 +35 rear 17X8 +35 front

255/40/17 rear 225/40/14 front front needs a 5mm spacer for coils

You should clear just fine if you run a smaller tire in the rear..

I have a stock 240sx, just got a bunch of SPL suspension parts (everything but coilovers - will get to that eventually) and I have 17x8 wheels (all 4 corners) - 5zigen FN01R-C (4 lug)

Currently I have Pirelli Pzero Nero 215/45 on my wheels, but they are old and need to be replaced.

Was thinking about getting Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 245/40

Will this be square?? Anyone have advice or perspective??

Thanks!
