Lane splitting for the win! That is the advantage of the bike, and I can tell you there isn't a day I ride, that I don't lane split. I know it sounds crazy but once you start you can't stop. The double yellow splitting may look crazy, but I always feel safer lane splitting on the double yellow than anywhere else, as there is really no chance of a car turning into you.
