I was driving down the highway today and one of my tires blew out and it ripped off the fender lining on the front driver side. The wires that go above the fender lining severed (some of them) and I have no clue what they are for. The ECU is on the passenger side, and unless it goes all the way through? No idea, anyways, could anyone tell me what the wires are for?

Leave the fenderlining off. More air flow..a good thing.
Looks like a$$ who cares!
Now...wires...what don't work??
Look at lights, wipers, all of it..Somthing will no longer function if you tore wires loose...but if you just cut the insulation , tape them up and you are good to go.

Wires are color coded for a reason.
Find the same color on both sides, patch them together, wrap it back up :-)

OK today i finally got a chance to check it out. I reconnected 2 of the wires, but the last 3 i could not find them. It seems that they were severed close to the grommet that goes into the firewall. The remaining wires are a solid black, black w/ 2 silver dots, and a blue w/ red stripes and ONE dot. If anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated. right now my AC does not work and my radio doesn't work. I just checked my fuse box and my A/C and AUDIO fuses were blown and I'm gonna replace them soon, but I should probably reconnect the wires before I do that since they might just blow. Also, on the black wire w/ 2 dots, theres about 3 other ones that look the same, I'm guessing it is probably a ground, maybe I could splice into one of them?

i kind of have the same problem my zeals are to low and it's grinding that group of wires for me too. I'm not sure what it does control but there is something running when my engine is off. It's only a problem when it's raining :)

Maybe it's your power locks or windows. Something like that.
