So it's about time i had enough fun w/ this KA-T and i go for my dream swap. Setup specs consist of:
Motor-
-All new gaskets+Seals (including front/rear main seal), every single one except Headgasket- est @ $100
-New waterpump+Alternator+Starter (I can't really remember exactly how much i spent on that) - Est @ $250
-New BKR7E plugs i've yet to put in- $20
-New Plug wires- $40
-T28- $300
-T2 Heatwrapped Downpipe- $150
-370CC Injectors- $120
-Apex'i intake filter- $145
-Discontinued Bee-R B.O.V- $200
-No name manifold + Elbow - $150
-Heat wrapped+Heat treated paint on manifold- $80
-Enthalpy Ecu- $400
-N62 maf- $60
-Nismo motor+Trans poly mount- $210
-Oil pan Bunged- $50
-Motor+Trans itself - $300
-All emissions/egr's blocked off
-Pressure/smoked tested for any boost leaks
Trans-
-Excedy four puck clutch- $500 (Still have receipts from Full Throttle)
-Discontinued J.U.N 10LB Flywheel- $300 (Bought used from Zilvia)
-New throwout bearing+Fork - $No clue how much i paid.
Vmount-
-RX7 Koyo radiator - $350
-Corolla inter cooler w/ modified end tanks - $200
-I/c Piping + Couplers - $150
-Labor (including piping welds+metal brackets to position i/c+rad) - $500
-Electric fan - $75
TOTAL = $4650.00
That's not counting the many little fittings/oil lines/coolant lines and misc pieces we all need to finish up a setup along with labor prices for alot of these things done including the time and effort needed to finish this setup. Now i know for sure i wont be getting what i paid back, and it doesn't surprise me at all, it's expected. I'd like 3000 o.b.o , i'd be pulling it out myself being I'm very meticulous about my engine bay, and if anyone that's seriously interested would like a ride, I'd be glad to give them one. I've driven this setup to C.T twice, N.J 4x, and all around N.Y.C all summer, sitting in traffic for hours and never seeing my temps go up. I have no problem keeping it and going for a top mount, however i wouldn't mind doing a 2j so selling this setup would help.
THE ONLY DOWNSIDE IS: I'm getting some blow by, so it might be time to upgrade the T28.
