Borrowed a buddy's custom QA1 setup for the rear of an S14 and went to Beech Bend to check it out. Felt way better than the stockers (or the Megans I'm usually on) ever dreamed of, but there's so much adjustment that I haven't even begun to see what they're capable of. Nothing impressive this time (1.89), mostly due to me getting there late and not having time to make any real adjustments and not getting the tire pressure low enough or enough heat in them. Be back soon to see if I can't improve.

Yes, and you know what else is sooooo boring? Hearing people say that drag racing is boring over and over again when they probably don't have a car that runs/drives or is even worth taking to the track. Good thing for me, I don't stick with only what other people consider "cool" and try everything. Thanks for your constructive comments.

Bad ass man, I would love to drag the s14 w/o blowing up my axles once the car has some real power.

The autoX vid you posted was cool. Props for trying different racing venues and being dynamic. I just think posting the initial vid was a boring one to watch. Most would probably agree that a drag pass that is unimpressive in time/speed and doesn't almost involve an accident is boring to a spectator.

Nobody forced anyone to watch the video. It's not like he tricked you guys with the title... it says "drag strip" right in it. Lets just bitch about every single thing we can.
Car sounded great.

Yes, definitely going to take some practice to get a good launch down. I'm open to any suggestions such as unhooking the front sway bar, etc...
The shocks are pretty awesome...24 way adjustable rebound and separate 24 way adjustable compression. I just need to try and bring it all together and see if this thing has a 1.4-1.5 60' in it.
It's an LS1 swap w/ an MS4 cam from Texas Speed, ported FAST 90/90, with a T56 behind it and an Apex'i GT Spec. J30 diff, CF driveshaft, stock axles, and M/T 255/50/16.

Surprised on how good that engine sounds behind the Apexi. I liked the drag vid personally!

Sure am tired reading people's posts hating on each other. Last time I checked this was an enthusiast's site that was suppose to unite people with a common interest with that being a S or Z chasis.
You would be hard pressed finding a better representation of a S chasis than Cnichols S14.
Good video of you in the autocross Nichols.....
