adjust your clutch pedal.
it might not be going in enough to disengage the clutch which is wont let you put it in any gear

Have you blead the your clutch as well? Most of our cars could use this considering the fluids achient lol. Plus Are you sure you have the friction material facing the correct way?

bled well, tried to adj the clutch pedel still nothing, even with the car running i can run through all the gears with no grinding or nothing. Friction disc is in the right way bc i drove the setup before tear down i just had a tob noise. new fluid when i did the swap i did a 5 speed conversion so its new master new slave new line

Do u have that bypass for the clutch line install that has like two breather on it...if u do remove that and bend ur line and hook it up straight to ur slave...I was having the same problem I did that and it help engage better...what ened being for me was master the part that hooks up at the pedal..the lock from the inside of the master came off...check that too..

ok i figured out my issue but i havent fixed it. The issue is the slave cylinder is not letting the fork release fully, if i remove slave cylinder and put it in gear it goes in. My pedel is adjusted all the way in(shortest travel) to allow the slave to come out all the way but the fork is about 1/4 in too far in still! any ideas

Uh... you did it backwards.
You need to thread the rod on the back of the clutch pedal all the way OUT to allow it to give more throw at the slave cylinder.
No wonder your shit don't work, you made it so it doesn't move much at all at the slave cyl.

If you have the clutch pedal adjusted such that the pedal comes out towards the back of the car, and the clutch engages almost all the way to the top of the travel, then you shouldn't have this issue.
I bet you still have the wrong TOB on there.
The TOB is kinda sorta year specific, so you need to get the one that's for the year your engine/tranny is from.

not to my knowledge, i guess at this point i will pull the tarnny and inspect the pressure plate and flywheel and clean it and inspect the fork and stuff. thx for the help guys, i see a ton of issues the same as mine so there has to be something i can fix

UPDATE: i removed the slave cylinder and bump started the car and no slipping. my issue is the slave cylinder wont allow the fork to release all the way. Ive adjusted the pedel all the way for maximum release even tried cutting down a rod but its still about 1/4in pushed in.....any ideas?
