Hey has anyone in the area ever changed out a IACV-AAC Valve also known as the Idle Control Valve. I am about to order a new one and have no idea where it is at or how to replace it but I love to learn how, just need someone with experience to help me. Thanks

ive taken mine out, to clean it with carb cleaner, so YES i have removed and installed it.(stock 91 ka24de) im pretty sure its just 3 bolts. 99% sure its on the pass side just look under the rear of the intake manifold on the back of the engine.

these should help Nicoclub blah blah yeah..

i took mine apart, theres a little piston thing and spring that i sprayed. this was like 2 years ago, memory is hazy, but it wasnt that big of a hassle.

we are talking about the same part right? where in sd are you? i can help you if you want. but it was pretty simple, just gotta get those bolt off which were blocked/in a small space.

there is a plug that goes to it, take it off(since you will need it off anyways) and when you take the plug off im pretty sure one of the stubborn bolts was easier to remove. Good luck.

awesome

Yeah I read all the stuff you posted, seems pretty easy. I just really don't like to jump into something like that first try without having someone around who has done it. I got a quote for like $80 to have it replaced I just need to order the part.
