Hey everyone,

I recently graduated college and have started my big boy job. I just recently purchased a 4Runner with the plan of selling the engine and mods from this motor and putting it towards doing an LS3 swap in the chassis.

The more and more I think about it, it's going to be a hassle to part everything out (possible, but a lot of time i don't have right now) for their fair resale value.

Therefore, I've decided to put it up here on Zilvia, the forum I've been growing accustomed to since I had my first 240sx. If someone buys it for what I'm asking, then great, if not, it may get a V8 swap after all.

Here are the facts on the car: CLEAN TITLE

ASKING PRICE: 6,500 OBO.
Mileage: 177,77X

Engine/Drivetrain:
-S14 SR20DET swap
-Hallman manual boost controller
-Blitz SS Blow off Valve (less than 10K on this part)
-Blitz FMIC
-HKS 264's (lope definitely audible)
-Apex'i Power FC is in the car because of the below mod (planned on larger turbo, but plans changed quickly).
-Apex'i SAFC (had this before I got Power FC recently, but i haven't uninstalled it yet, lazy)
-Deastchworks 740CC injectors
-2.5'' crush bent exhaust with Apexi 3.5'' muffler (never had a chance to change it really)
-Exedy Stage 1 clutch (less than 5000 miles on this clutch since put in)
-FRsport Aluminum driveshaft
-VLSD-changed fluid two weeks ago.

Wheels/tires/brakes:
-Will come with stock S14 rollers wrapped in Falken Ziex 512's I think (fronts almost brand new, rears about 40 percent, not because I drift the car like a madman or anything guys, I just had a huge alignment issue in the rear of the car when I got it which ended up causing me to have to change tires at different times)
-for the right price I will also include (1) 17x8'' and 2 17X10'' 5 Zigen FN01R-Cs (the other one got damaged in the demise of my last 240, these definitely need tires, but if I don't have a 240 I don't need the wheels, right?
-Nissan 300ZX 1'' master cylinder, front 30mm aluminum calipers, with new rotors and pads installed in December of '09, also have new Hawk pads brand new in box never installed.
-SPL stainless conversion lines from S14 to Z32 brake fittings.

Suspension mods:
-Tokico Blues Front and Rear
-Eibach Pro-Kit Front and Rear
-Circuit Sports adjustable toe and camber arms for rear
-Circuit Sports subframe spacers (with known good subframe bushings in car)
-SPL Tension rods

Interior:
-fruity shift kit from ebay that was in it when I purchased it (sorry)
-Kenwood Deck with USB and ipod hookup in rear, goes with car.
-clarion front speakers (not sure about rear)
-I guess I could mention within this field that it has a Viper Alarm (hello insurance discount)

As anyone can easily see there are quite a few good things about the car, but you should know about it's deficiencies as well:
-sunroof leak (have another one to replace that's ready to go in that can go with you if you like, I have no need for it)
-drivers side window doesn't go down(replaced window motor, tested with drill battery and wires and discovered it's isolated to a bad switch now).
-When I got this car I bought it like it was, meaning it was keyed before I came into it's ownership. Look it over and if it turns you off, perhaps look elsewhere, the car needs a respray to remedy it.
-Car needs to be tuned on account of the injectors and relatively stock condition. Was planning for a disco potato or better, but i've lost interest.
-Transmission has developed an annoying third gear grind that is not a HUGE deal, but irritating nonetheless.

It sits and doesn't get driven often, I took it out tonight to make sure it stayed lubricated, and everything works, I've never had a boost spike out of this car, and it's never been ran at extensively high boost levels, 13 psi is the highest I've had it, and that was for short periods of time.

I've had the car for two years now and under my ownership it's always been treated with the utmost of care, oil and filter changes were changed with Mobil-1 Synthetic and a Purolator filter every 3,000-3,500 miles and the spark plugs are relatively new.

That's all I can think of at the moment, if I think of anything more, I'll definitely update the ad. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me.
Heck, give me a call if you're serious and we'll talk about the car person to person. If you live in the area and want a test drive, I've be more than happy to oblige, but you're definitely not going alone.

Thanks for looking and I look forward to speaking with you all.
