Testing water on a set of USED S14 Tein HE’s coilovers.

I have had these coilovers for over 6 years (I think), condition is 7 out of 10.
From what I remember: 16-way dampening, Pillow-ball mounts, Ride height adjustments, Spring Load adjustments, and Front camber adjustments. For additional spec, please check the Tein website on the Drift Spec coilovers.

I do not know the exact mileage on them, but if I had to guess about 30 K miles. I bought these NEW in 04’, daily driving, auto-x, and very few drift events till 07’. Middle of 07’, I went to a track, had an accident, and messed up 2 of the coilovers. At the end of the 07’, I got all 4 coilovers re-built. In 08’, I pulled both my shoulders out of there sockets, Non-Op’d the car, and from there it sat in the garage till Dec 09’. From Dec 09’ till present day, the car was drifted once or twice a month. There are probably only 1K miles on them since the re-build!

There are wear and tear on the coilover, but everything is in working order and fully functional, will also include (2) spanner wrenches. I will try to get some people who have driven the car this year, to vouch that the coilovers are not blown. The 2 main people who I know for sure have driven the car are David “Hamburger” (626 drift crew) and Jason Aquino (Just Drift).

Reason why I am thinking about selling them is because I would like to go with a stiffer springs and would like the option to go a little lower. The picture is with the Tein at the LOWEST setting they will go. (Front collars are still in, but the rear is maxed!) 18X9.5 +15 w/ 225/35/18 Fed’s on all 4 corners.

Please post any question or request here in this thread, do NOT PM me.

I am looking to get $750 OBO for the coilovers, I will NOT ship or interested in any trades! Coilover are located in Granada Hills, 91344.

so one day this asian guy comes up to me, and says I need a little help learning the car. So I sit in the passenger seat, and he takes a pass at the track, guy spins out, we pull up to the starting grid, I tell this guy "alright, lets switch, and you can see what im doing right"....then this man says "i get road sick if i'm not the driver".

so I take this guys car for a test run....none the less, it's a stock s14 with coils yada yada. basically stock s14 with SR.

car not only drives smooth, but when you point the car, it drifts. There was no excessive body roll, no blown coils, brakes braked, car transitioned as easy as my car just with the help of power.

I've driven this car a few times, and even better, i've seen this guy drive it more than a couple of times.

Never seen any problems with it's suspension...but even better, the guy's running great fitment with normal wheels on stock chasis and this car looks dumped!

pedro has my vote!

bump for you my friend....enjoy the story!
