Well might will be picking myself up a 89 coupe for $600.00, but I want to know what you guys think.

The guy says he has a KA24DE in it with a new head gasket, ARP headstuds & some cams. and was just rebuilt 5000 miles ago.

Its a 5 speed but he does know the mileage on the tranny.

It needs a whole front end, little bits of interior (he said he has 2 seats and some carpet and other panels)
It also needs taillights.

The radiator core support it bent up just a little.

I'm fine with the rear bumper dent.

What I was thinking was I could visit some of the junk yards around here and get a new front end & steering wheel.

I want to know if its worth my time?

I dunno. How much is your time worth? Cuz that looks like a handful. Only consider getting it if your realistically have a place to do the work and the resources to get it done.

if you really want it get it, no matter what you are always going to spend time working on a car, if you're up for it get it, if not don't waste your time with it. not bashing on you or anything like that.

No reason not to snag it, in that case.

Wait, you check the frame rails for rust?

I wouldn't touch that car with a 10 foot pole.

I'd wait around and see if you can get a better deal on something more complete and with a straight body/chassis.

But that's just how I am.

What would you pay for it Fro.

The core is just bent the body and chassis is just fine.

Just it can bend that core back in place if i wanted.

Where in Florida you at? I can help you out if you end up buying it. IIRC the core supports are removable and can be replaced, and junkyards (at least in my area) usually have S13s for the picking.

Ocala, yea we have some distance.

I know they can be removed put If I have no luck I can alway ratchet strap bend it back until I find a cheap one.

But thanks for offering on help.

I added the crappy full body shot from the ad, I will be getting more pictures today before I go to check it out.

Your questions are answered. Now it is completely up to you.

If you need parts for the car, then use the Marketplace.

If you questions about your area, use the Regional Section.

If you need help with the car, then Search the forums. Most likely, someone else has dealt with whatever is wrong with your car.
