Car has 2850lb race weight as is sits now.

Much more weight can be removed to get at least another 200lbs out, and with an SR swap back in, the car will seriously rip and grip.

differering from state to state but to make a car road legal doesn't it only take headlights seatbelts turn signals mirrors etc to make this a road legal car or is there more?

hard to say, not everywhere will pass a car missing the factory pieces, or a car with a roll cage, its a game of chance i guess, i only know of PA and MD rules, neither will pass a car with a full cage.
