Is it true that the strut bar doesnt really do anything if the car isnt lowered? My friend told me that when you lower your car you will feel the strut bar more than in stock form. What id think is that you should feel the strut bar more in stock form cause your car are in softer settings so you can feel it more am i right?

Your friend has the right idea - a stiffer suspension and more grip will put more torque on the frame and make more use of bracing.

It's still somewhat noticeable with the stock suspension, though. A rear bar in a fastback particularly makes a large difference.
