This is a 1998 Nissan 240sx SE. 1998 was the last year that this vehicle was offered in the US; of course it features the late (koukei) version headlight and hood, along with a number of upgrades:
AEM air intake
Carbon Fiber Hood from VIS
Apex GT-Spec Exhaust with active tail silencer, mounted with polyurethane exhaust hangers
Nissan Skyline R-32 front brake discs (powder-coated in red) and brake caliper
HKS Hipermax II coilover, 20-way adjustable
LED taillights (the original will also be included)
7'' Flip-up-screen dash-in GPS from Lanzar
Nismo short shifter
Tinted back window
Dash-in pull-out cup holder and coin case (other 240sx owners should know how the original configuration is frustratingly missing both!)
Other, OEM features:
Cruise control
Late version US bumper with OEM lip (since black in color hidden in the shadow in the 1st picture)
Fog lights
Running at 99000 miles. Tires are new, transmission fixed and oil changed just this past winter (around 1000 miles ago). The previous owner has had it garage-kept and I always parked it under shelter. Therefore the paint is still good except for some scratch marks here and there. As you might have noticed parts that I swapped in are all stainless steel so there is no rust or whatsoever. I also have all the original parts that I have swapped out except for the hood, brakes, and the exhaust, so if you want it back to bone you can pretty much do so; I had no place to stow the original hood, and in case you want it red to match the car you can always paint over the CF; the original brakes were completely broken which was when I took the chance to upgrade; the original exhaust was so rusted that keeping it would make no sense. No work has been done to the engine so this should be an attraction to modders looking to work on stock parts. Skeptics may question the early version garnish panel in the photos: that I swapped in because it looks better with the LED lights. The original late version lights will be included.
Note that this is an out-of-state car. Registration to my knowledge is just the same, but bear in mind the smog test requirement in CA. I never tried so I don't know if the GT-spec will mess it up; given the history of 240sx modification I am certain people have devised methods to work around this. During my ownership the car has not been in any accidents. In all this is a well-kept and maintained car that is ready to go! Everything works including AC, heat, cruise control, power everything!
