So, if you are eating we would appreciate you pitching in $10 to our food fund.
With the money collected, we will be buying Carne Asada, Marinated Chicken,
Hamburger patties, sides (i.e. beans, corn, mashed potatoes etc) drinks and utensils. Reason
being is, we dont want to end up with 5,000 cups along with 1,000,000
napkins and only 5 lbs. of meat. So the more, the merrier. We will be buying most the shit from COSTCO thanks to Amir.

Yeah its basically the same as the 7d (but it has a nicer body and the top LCD). I need to get the rode videomic sometime soon as the internal mic is nearly unuseable as you can hear me focus in it lol. I need to get an f1.4 or f1.8 50mm for indoor shooting as f 3.5 is as good as the kit lens goes which isn't nearly enough. I wish the 2/3 sensor didn't make lenses look longer otherwise the kit lens would be plenty wide.

I had several concerns in regards to a Plan B in case there is not enough parking, etc. So, i posted the following info on Club4AG:

Okay...so I manually counted the parking spaces in main lot in the area we will be at (about 59 + 50 = 109) and the long strip or parking spots (about 66) and that's a total of 175 parking spots. Granted, there will more than likely be regular park goers, I don't foresee a huge problem with parking. If anything, we can also have late comers park in the East Parking lot. Its not that far and that has about 130 parking spots as well. In total, there is about 305 parking spots in this area...parking is free and location is easy to find and low key. This is where we had our first (and only) 86 Meet a few years ago. We had no problems back then and I dont expect any this time around either as long as everyone acts right, etc. We dont want any one coming revving the piss out of their cars, doing donuts, speeding, etc. Keep it chill and all should be fine...

No comment...I've just been to a few of their meets that they had in Eastlake and lets just say the cops came and put a stop to their meets over there for douche bags doing donuts in the parking lot and racing after leaving the meet. I'm just trying to avoid that shit here and if we see it, we'll kindly ask such troublemakers to leave. We are having this for everyone to have a good time and using our own money to make it a good time...the only thing we ask is to give a couple of bucks to offset our costs. We are not making any money off this BBQ, just trying to rep SD and invite fellow enthusiasts to admire others' car builds or works in progress, etc. I hope this helps clarify things...

That includes a cheeseburger or hotdog (with or w/out turkey bacon) or carne asada taco, bag of chips, and a beverage (i.e. H2O, 7Up, Diet Coke, Pepsi, or Dr Pepper) as well as any sides we might have (mash potatoes, etc.). haha i was kidding, i went to the bbq with my car half way sanded (its getting painted as we speak) but it was rhd coupe.. silvia front, bricks gtr grill, OEM front and side AERO. 350z wheels.. it was black, blue front end and white mirrors....

but its sexy looking now... cant wait for next meet to show it off!
