Nice car. 2 Grand mark up for the title though? No one should even buy it without one. Unless it's a track car. And track cars are cheaper

cool story bro. thanks for the bump... im in process of doing everything in my power to get the title.

i might even get it able to "start" no drive..but sit there and run. but like i said i do have a video of it running before pull..the motor is rock solid. most of the shit here is brand new.

this car finished with new paint and wheels coilovers..clean title all sale for over $20,000 people...and this will be i believe the SECOND ONE ONLY with stock hood...

NOTHING DONE TO BODY WHAT SO EVER! you can easily get another stock subframe and put the rotary back in ( if you wanted :keke: )

... i bought a VERY LOW mileage 2jz AC compressor, and kept all the factory FD AC stuff..the wiring harness is also modded to use this..and to have working rear tail lights..

the goal was to have working, heat, AC, cuirse, every button work. 100% like factory car...

again this is testing waters...i mean if i can get the title sorta soon.. then arrrhhhh my dream car! lol. ( seriously though )

i cant stress enough how if this car gets running, it will be one of two ( that i've EVER SEEN!! ) stock hood daily drivable 2jz fd. and also..there are NO FD's even forsale around in my area, NC/SC period.

I can super vouch for Joey. He's a super nice guy, and would never screw you over on anything.

This is a very very legitimate sale, and Joey is letting this shit go for waaaay cheap.

I've seen this car in person many times, given my opinion on things that need to be done and what not. Super Super Super Super clean interior, Very very clean body. Retarded awesome motor, He just got the turbo professional rebuilt, I'm telling you, the car is legit.

Also, he's telling the truth on the title thing. He's trying his best to get it.

And if you apply for a lost title, they're easy as pie to get. 250$ tops. At least in NC, done it multiple times.

Anywho, Gabe or Walker, get this car, I want to see someone do something with it please.

First CHAD: thanks man! you know i really appreciate the kind words :)

um..honestly dude.. all the stuff has been bought.. if you can do metal fab..then you only have to pay for parts... everyone would charge different for whatever..

its all about who does it..whats used..whats changed.. how its done.. Price varies so much. i mean..the steering issue is the HARDEST PART..you CANT NOT have the rack in stock location with this motor in this car..under a stock hood.. i mean unless you do a CRAZY ASS oil pan or something. i mean.. literally everything is there. but nick naks. under $1k for sure.

the only thing that sucks about this car is the title issue.. but i've ran the number through with the CMPD and the DOT. the car is clean and clear! just honestly a lost title.. but this monday im going to call up some ppl and maybe file some paper work to see what i can do.

pretty bad ass...def is gonna be a killer...id personally lose the safc and pick up a EMU or FIC...but BLAH. looks really legit and ive been through the same title problem man...get a shop to claim expenses on the car and the state will hand over the title if the owner on title doesnt comply/pay for shop charges in 30-45 days.

I would love that thing for a daily driver but I dont got money for two projects. Did you try throwing this up on RX7Club yet? I havent checked the classifieds lately there so I havent seen this car before. If you havent tried selling it there yet go do it. I'm pretty sure someone would snatch this up fairly quickly. Its basically selling for the price of a shell right now.

how much heavier than the original motor is the 2j?
would the vehicle balance be off?

Awesome car for sure.

but i always get skeptical when people say "lost title" and working on getting the new one. It is actually very very easy to get. Espeically if you know the previous owner and it was their car.

For North Carolina, have the previous owner fill out the required form from the DMV for a Duplicate Copy of Title. It has to be done in front of a Notory. Once signed and filled out bring $15. Yes $15 to the DMV with the form and you will have the new title in about 2-3 weeks.

So please, either come clean on where this title deal is or whos car it actually is. Because if the guy you got the car from was the owner and he had the title, then 2-3weeks he has a new one and ready to sign over to anyone who wants to buy the car.

I hope you take this advice and do this process. Very simple and hell you will get more money out of your sale probably. and this is also going to help out all the potential buyers would would buy this car if it has a title.

So good luck with the sale.

Bro, cluttering this thread with unneeded information. He knows how to get a title, unfortunately this situation calls for a little bit more drastic measures.

If you apply for a lost title, you have to buy indemnity bonds to cover half of what the car is worth, then you have to have someone come look at the car and sign off that it's okay to issue a title. That's IF you can get an appointment. In this part of NC the office is only opened 8-10 on Wednesday and Friday.
