i saw alot of posts regarding the sleepy eye wiring but didnt see an answer to it. i was wondering if anyone figured out how to wire the headlights to a switch so i could run the headlights while the sleepy eye look is on. i have the pivot headlight controller installed but whenever i run sleepy eyes n try n turn the lights on, they extend to full height and run normal. anyone know how to rewire it??

If you want to really go all out on sleepy eye, you can take you headlight motor arms and adjust them so when you turn your lights on, it comes up to sleepy eye. Not really a point tho in having you lights on when you are at sleepy eye, cause you wont be able to see jack.

2 wires need to be cut...
one in the steering rack (for the low beams) and one at the timer control module (for the high beams). I don't remember which ones they are, but with a multimeter, you should find them out quickly.

alright. Cheap sleepy eyes. you pull out your headlight button and cut the light green wire, splice a toggle switch onto it and voala. Put the switch on ON and hit the button. they should go up. then flip the switch to off. Push the button again and they should stay up. Then you just keep going back from Off-On untill you have the lights at the height you want. =)
