"Ok I have a set of r33 calipers that are sitting around, I know the stock ally rims will not clear the calipers, I wanted to know if a set of 16" XXR 002 rims with a +38 offset will fit. I am sick of having them in my house and not installed.

Also I was wondering if the 4 lug sentra or maxima rims will clear them....I need a winter setup also

I think it wont have as much to do with the offset as the style of face on the wheel. Flat? need spacers. concave, maybe not, or not as big.

Yeah they are more flat than anything.....I wonder if I can just grind the inside of the spokes on my se rims to make them fit

Don't do this.

I couldn't tell you about the wheels, but, you can unbolt your caliper and bolt the r33 caliper in place and test fit the wheel. You don't have to disconnect the lines or anything, just unbolt it, move it out of the way and put the other caliper on.

You will need at least a 25mil spacer to clear stock rims which are +40 offset, same thing for those 002's since they are +38. As c72c said, just test fit them.

wow that big of a spacer eh? are there any 4 lug wheels that clear them for sure....a 25mm spacer seems awfully big. I was planning on test fitting them before I go out and spend a ton of loot on wheels that wont fit...if that is the case I may just buy some spacers until I can afford the wheels I want...would't I need to get spacers for the rear also, not for fittment but because having a 50mm difference in wheelbase front to rear will effect the handling. Correct me if I am wrong but wouldn't that cause uber oversteer?

i am about to order spacers just wondering how much of a spacer I need the front rotors are 296mm with th 30mm skyline caliper just gonna stick with my stock SE alloys for now seeing how no matter what I need a spacer up front 510n says you need 25mm to clear, but i have seen some people say 15mm or even 5mm, so what are we talking here does anyone know for sure?!

Well, with 25mm spacers I have about ~10mm clearance between the brakes and my wheels. You could defiantly run a smaller spacer; but keep in mind that I have 26mm z32 calipers, which are smaller then r33 calipers, so your clearance with the stock wheels will be a little less. Check out Powered By Max's spacers, they are the best option for your situation.

bumping an old thread the 25mm spacer just barely doesn't clear...I guess I could do 30mm but I am not sure if that will fit either...I am guessing no one has my exact setup with he stockers on....maybe I should just get some retarded 50mm spacers just to be sure. I don't like the idea of 2 spacers on one hub so i might just toss the 25mm on the rear so my wheelbase isn't too stupid looking until I can afford some new rims

<--- too poor after ressurecting this car and saving it from the junkyard RUST!!!!!!:D After welding in a new frame more or less, I am broke I probably needed a 30mm spacer to fit...REALLY don't want to use washers or another spacer...Does anyone know what oem rims would fit?? I know sentra spec V (rays 57c) fit but they are hard to find and pricey. Will a sentra SER 16"?? or maybe nissan cube??

Lol @ r avatar, next his scouter esplodes

35mm spacers fit with just the right ammount of safe clearance :)
