it’s a 1990 240sx Hatchback with a s14/s13 Sr20det Motor. The head is from an S14 SR20DET and the block is from an S13 SR20DET.

Good, the car is fun, quick, and unique. I bought the car basically when the rebuild had about 3400 miles on it. I've probably put about 500 on it since then..I checked the turbo for play, and there is none. don't know what else to say
The Bad: the hatch leak a little on the passenger side, pinch welds on the frame are bent from where people jacked it up and minor surface rust spots, needs paint all over, the temperature gauge does not work in the cluster but the commander is just fine...operating temp is 80 degrees Celsius.
The driver seat requires force to recline and to push back up, the doors have a certain way they need to be locked, it's missing a turn signal, the rear seats aren't bolted in because they require custom modification to fit in an S13. the dash and other parts of the interior are missing bolts. although, I bought it this way...
Sound deadening needs to be redone, there are still little pieces everywhere.
As far as the engine goes, it has a lifter type noise that comes from the S14 VTC cam sprocket. it's gone bad. from what I've read, over time the bad sprocket make the engine run rich also which explains why the car smells of gas, that and the o2 sensor is also unplugged and needs to be replaced. either way I have an S13 intake cam sprocket that will come with it to swap with.
if you push the clutch in too fast upon decel the car will stall, I believe the flywheel is too light.
The car likes to idle hunt sometimes as well.
The retraction fusible link for the head lights is blown so the headlights don't go down, sleepy eyes..
There is bumper gap, and intercooler support is broken so it sits lopsided..the bumper gap is from the weight of the intercooler.
I think I pretty much covered everything. If I remember anything else, will post.
Recently made a mistake trying to install the s13 sprocket. messed up the timing chain so it will have to be redone to get the car running again.
Asking $2200. open to trades as well.
Looking for a stock coupe, m/t if anyone is intersted.
