Ok so i have some MMO and i planned on using it on my ka24e since it started to have some timing chain rattle out of nowhere. I was thinking maybe a fresh oil change would quiet it down a tad. Now would you guys suggest me maybe pouring in the MMO before i do my oil change and letting the car run and then doing an oil change. Or taking out the old oil and just adding MMO to my fresh oil. I just don't know if the MMO will thin out my oil if i leave it in the crank case and have me leaving puddles left and right. Can i get some opinions please????

Changing your oil isnt going to do shit about a timing chain rattle. Theyre completely unrelated. You need to remove the lower chain guides if you want to stop that rattle.

the guy above me is retarded! You need all of the timing chain guides except for the top one! Just change the timing chain! its easy and not to hard! And it makes a huge difference on the motor!
marvel mistery oil is a hoax!

Ok so maybe it wont solve the rattle but should i run my car with the MMO in the crank case or should i just run the car with MMO and the old oil for like 20 minutes and just add only fresh oil to the car afterwards and no MMO

i say seafoam it. then change oil, sparkplug fuel filter...
then run your oil with lucas oil stabilizer.

Just dropped a half quart of MMO into my crankcase (with a fresh oil change), and 4oz into my fuel (5° advanced on 91oct) to tell you the truth, I felt a difference after driving for about 5 minutes. Runs and feels smoother. But one thing I noticed is that my idle went from a steady 700 (fully warmed) to 1000 (fully warmed). Does it mean the MMO is working and everything is running smoother, reducing friction, causing my idle to raise a bit? Anything will help. Thanks

After driving more and letting the MMO run its course, my idle has returned to 700rpm, sweet :). So far so good.

Those sites are very informative, more likely i wont be using MMO on routine maintenance, maybe once every other oil change, maybe. Haha.
Thanks.
