WTF is that noise!

Okay, first off, i have a 95 240sx with a sr20det in it. There is this extreamly annoying fast beep noise when i turn on the car. and it stays beeping really fast when the cars on as well. When i hit the hazard button, the beeping goes away. Maybe this has something to do with my blinkers not working? My friends suggested my car was in "Safe Mode"..? I have no idea what this fast beeping sound indicates. Its coming from a little black box under the dash on the driver side. I disconnect it and none of my hazards work or anything. but the noise goes away lol. HELP! thanks guys.

Sounds like your flasher unit is bad. The only thing that doesn't work when you disconnect it is your hazards, and your signals didn't work before this happened or did they stop working when you started to hear this noise?

Is It Simila to the Noise that happens when you first start the car or have the door open? Sounds weird

NO its alot faster then when the door is open. The hazards only work right now when i have the black box plugged in. the blinkers dont work at all. the signals worked when the harness was in my car in japan.

So you took the harness out and reinstalled in a different car or the same car? Possibly a short in the harness causing the blinker to go crazy? Try jiggling the harness in different places to see if anything changes.

Electrical short in the flasher circuit or bad ground. Make sure all of your turn signal/running light bulbs are good, and check to see if you shorted the wires anywhere. Sounds like you pinched a wire reinstalling it into another car.
