I purchased some Nismo center caps to go with Aaron's old LMGT4's (17x9.5 +12 front, 18x10.5 +15 rears).
Turns out after I handed the wheels and center caps over to get powder coated, they do not fit.
Called Ray over at West Covina Nissan, he said that Nismo center caps should have 3 prongs on the back - mine have 6. Odd.
I also dug around google and some 350Z guys say that Japanese LMGT4's came with a larger hub opening than the US-spec LMGT4's. Not sure why this would be true, but it would explain why mine do not clip on. The prongs on the back of mine are far too small (diamater between prongs) to fit the hub.
Ray also said that LMGT4's don't come with any snap rings or additional parts and should clip right in.
My center caps came in Nismo boxes and from Sam at Jspec, who's legit.
Part # is 40315-RN854-20. Very wierd that Westco tried looking that number up and found nothing.
Does anyone have LMGT4 center caps that fit? can I get a picture?
Also, does anyone have the flat-type Rays center caps for TE37's? i'm thinking that might be what I need.
Pic w/ two quarters for size reference:
