well i just finished rebuilding my SR head and put everything back on. and my PFC is going off the charts and it seems like i have a major boost leak. its reading around from -175-350 on my PFC. and usually is on -20. i know that all my FMIC pipings are all clamped and the couplers are not cracked cause i checked. vacum lines are all good. are there any other possible things i missed

dont know but it could be i'll check over again but i'll stick in my boost gauge and see what happens

Idk if it's true.. I heard that a faulty CTS causes you to lose power but I'm not sure if that would effect your boost or not or maybe an intake manifold gasket? Sorry just trying to give random suggestions you haven't tried yet. I'll search around my self and see if I can find anything.

double check you vac lines and double check you intake manifold make sure its all butoned up

i was thinking about that as well but i dont know yet i know that i've checked as well but i think i might just pick up a hondata intake manifold gasket and see what happens.
but i know it is sort of weird cause that never happened to me before. it ws reading fine before i took off the head to have it rebuild. plus i know my BOV isnt bad cause i didnt feel any air blowing out of it.
i might just spray some soapy water on to the possible leaks and see what happens

i know the vac lines and are in the correct places cause i checked on it over 5 times making sure everything was up to par before i started up the motor.

Yeah just try to spray down everything.. I need to cause I have a boost leak as well..I'm almost positive my intercooler pipings are all tight but I need to double check my gauge used to read 20 psi at full boost and now it reads like -10 at idle and now I only boost 5 psi if that even if my boost controller is set at 15 or cranked max. It happened right before I deployed so I didn't get time to fix it or look into it like I want and need to but I know that somethings really wrong.

its weird my PFC never acted like that before as well. i think i'll just the boost gauge for now and see if my vac is messed or not. i just want to get all fixed and get my car ready for a dyno tune as soon as i get a base map.

Same here Im using the PFC as well. Hmm.. but Im using a boost gauge though and that's where Im reading it from. I dont think I ever checked my PFC for a boost reading.

i usually check with the PFC and the boost gauge to make sure i have accurate readings but i've never notice that it would dip off the chart that bad before. i just got to make sure everything is right and isnt weird
maybe i could be wrong what if i have a bad boost sensor

Are u using Tbolt Clamps or Trad. Hose Clamps? fyi Tbolt clamps are garbage and leak like crazy they also deform alum ic piping if too tight.

i just use regular old worm clamps and trust me i know what i'm doing.

Cool then sounds like you got all the tools at your disposal make a pressure tester there Stud. With the system pressured thats the only way u can test with your soappy Spray. You aren't generating jack pressure at idle to show any kind of leak.
Do you have D-jetro or L-jetro? if you have D-jetro, with ignition on engine off, check boost on your commander, it should be close to 0.
if not check your map sensor setting and make sure it's on apex map sensor.
Also you can check on switch/sensor check under etc to see if map sensor voltage is good.(bad 4.99v or 0.00volt.)

most likely i will check the sensor if its faulty. i have a L-jetro.
l-jetro power-fc still shows map sensor voltage on switch /sensor check, so you can see what's going on.
