depends on what style you want. With a coupe. you can go all silvia out, with the fastback its all about the Type-X. Just depends on how you want your car. Its your car, do what you want with it. Theres no pro's and cons on either side. Its about neutral when it comes to motor upgrades.
I always love the coupe's but i have friends who jocks the fastback.

Ok thanks. I was concerned about the motor upgrades. I might go with the coupe. Since i might do a silvia up grade later on.

They both feel and drive the same. They say the coupe is a little stiffer. Hatchback has a little more space to put more stuff in the hatch area if your concerned about space. Motor upgrades are endless and the same for both not one is different than the other when it comes to upgrades. If your worried about motor upgrades then don't worry about it at all. Just get what you want and don't worry about what others think. Do your research before you ask anything. If you don't wanna get flamed around here do your research and tell in your post what you did to search before asking your question so it shows like you did some on your part and not look so noobish. Welcome to the forum and for being a local. Good luck.

Personally, I have always been a fan of the coupes myself. It really does just come down to personal preference. They can both be done to look nice.

Don't completely set your mind on the ka-t idea though man. A lot of people will tell you to do it! But even more people will tell you that you'll just blow it up. And that SR will in the end will prove to be less hassle. Don't get me wrong, if done RIGHT and I mean everything RIGHT, KA-t can be just as good if not better than an SR.

Ok, at least try to do some research before you post stupidity..if you want a Ka-t setup your looking at anything 91-94(DOHC) or 89-90 already swapped with the DE. As for body style it's all on you, the hatch is a little heavier in the ass because of the glass..coupes are very stiff in the ass and are really easy to get sideways if thats what you plan on doing with your car..now go search your little brain out and find some info and then post!

I'd rather do the ka-t because i dont want to deal with the swap. When i can just use the money towards the turbo build. Yeah im not gonna rush the turbo project because i wanna do it right the first time. But if i come across a good sr deal i just might take it.
Sorry if i wasnt clear on which Ka i wanted to build but its gonna be the ka24de. Not the single cam.
