DESCRIPTION:
I finally got my hands on this car a few months ago, years after I originally tried to buy it. My neighbor owned it and then it was sold to another neighbor, who later sold it to me. This car has been off the road since 2004. It has become a long time project since then. I ran the numbers on the motor and its a 1969 350 block with good 305 heads (high compression). The transmission is a rebuilt turbo 350 w/ manual valve body and the rear is a 10bolt posi with 3.73gears. Take the car for a spin, it runs excellent. Over the past 6 years the car has constintly been driven around the same neighborhood by myself and the previous 2 owners. It starts right up like a brand new car. The motor sounds very healthy and by the sound of the idle, im sure it has a mild cam. Here is a list of what was done or changed. Even if something was changed a couple years ago it still has almost no miles on it. Keep in mind it is a project car and it needs some finishing touches. First of all, it has a pin hole in a brake line. The headlights and window trim need to be put on, i didnt because I would assume the next owner is going to get the car painted and would have to remove them all again. The cowl hood either needs to be drilled for hood pins or you can reattach the factory hardware to it. The hood was 500$, i really didnt want to drill through it. The body of the car is in great shape, the trunk is clean and the underside of the car has minimal surface rust. Obviously the car needs a paint job.
