Im from east coast, visiting a friend in San Diego soon, stuff to do?

I'm planning on heading out to san diego next month to visit a friend, he moved there about 3 yrs ago from PA, near were I live... anyways, he says we can go surfin and do some deep sea fishing... sounds cool, but just figured I'd ask you guys if the was anything that'd I'd be crazy not to do while im out there? also open to just going and checking out local spots and drifting... of course.

surf, surf, surf, hit me up! lets go get shacked. i went on one of those fishing tours, freaking sea lions stole all my fish. you will probably want to check out palomar canyon,telegraph canyon, OB noodle House, go skate the pier in Ocean Beach. Bar hop in Pacific Beach, try to act like you have money in downtown, go walk around naked at Blacks beach-just to say you did it(no homo).

Hit the beaches. Go snorkeling on the southside of La Jolla shores, you should be able to see a bunch of leopard sharks there.

hahahaha thats so true about downtown. but there is definitely some eye candy there. if drinking is not your thing, you can check out Seaport Village and eat by the water. Go to the beaches in La Jolla and stare at all the MILFs and Cougars...and shake your head at their daughters acting the same way as them. A lot of fun shit to do, depending on what you are into.

Go to Santanas get a bomb ass Cali burritto. Hit up mission beach during the day to tan and hit up chicks. then head up to PB at night go to the bars! then get super wasted and spend 40 bucks on a cab to downtown gas lamp. clubs pop around 11-1am. then when you wake up next to what ever her name is. eat all her food and go to mexico for round 2. when you get back from mexico go to qualcomm stadium and do 10 figure 8's and call it a day

i hella dig sunset cliffs. i like the scenary, & althought ive yet to do it, theres also a place you can cliff dive there. the major tourist attractions are legoland, sd zoo & seaworld. i havent been to any of the 3. i also recommend the carne asada fries. theres hella good asian food down here too, especially on Convoy st in clairemont mesa.

LA is cool but the IE?! Why the fuck would you tell him to come down to that shit hole. Nothing but white trash and lifted trucks here.

The inland empire (inland southern california), or "IE" as locals call it, spans riverside and san bernardino counties, and parts of LA and SD counties. This is the region of California that any travel agencies or colleges just don't want the rest of the world to know about. The culture there condones and encourages racism, sexism, and every kind of bigotry. Education is not viewed as something to expand knowledge, but rather to get money to buy another raised up truck. If you have ever watched "Idiocracy" by Mike Judge, this region would strike home in a frighteningly accurate way. People there are just as belligerent as they are stupid and unwelcoming to new people and ideas. Also, this region is home to "bros" and "bro hos". Looking up those as well will give you a much better idea about the IE too. All in all, living here, you'll get every drawback of big city living, but none of the advantages. If you live there, for the love of God, GET OUT.

That is too much for me.yea, im originally from LA so i know exactly what the traffic is like there. fuck that, every time i go its either late at night or early in the morning so i can miss all the traffic. SOOO much stuff to do in SD, but the stoner community is more towards the beach. Ocean Beach is such a stoner place, i cant remember any bar/club in LA where i can go in flip-flops, board shorts and a hat. PB sluts, cant get enough of 'em.
