Valve Job?

Doing my vtc blacktop build-up and was going to get a valve job done for 270 while it was in getting some resurfacing for the headgasket. Is this a wise investment? Also consider, they are installing my cams and valve springs with that whole deal. I don't know enough about it to make a judgement call, but evidently this price is a hook-up.
