I have a 1993 240SX that I just don't have the time / resources to build up properly. I bought it in December, and have only put about 600 miles on since then. However, the previous owner put 265,000 miles on it! The car still runs fine, and I've done some upgrading / maintenance on it in the past 8 months. I'm located in San Diego, near Qualcomm.

Details:
factory 5-speed manual transmission
I hand-stitched a shift boot to replace the crappy 17-year old factory boot
Working (cold) A/C
JDM bubble shift knob
JDM gold flake steering wheel (I have the original wheel, and can install that if you prefer)

Upgrades/Repairs:
Brand new Front Lower Control Arms, complete with new ball joints
Circuit Sports T/C rods
Circuit Sports tie rods and ends (with spacers for more steering angle) these things are beefy!
Power Enterprise braided stainless clutch line (direct from master cylinder to slave cylinder)
Removed timing chain guides, so no more rattling under the valve cover.
Complete tune-up (new spark plugs, wires, oil / filter, air filter)
Energy Suspension Bushings up front (sway bar, steering rack, etc.)
I have the factory suspension parts and rear energy suspension bushings too, which you're welcome to have.

Concerns:
266,000 miles on the engine/chassis, however, she still runs fine and all gears work perfectly
Rear tires are worn out. I've been lazy to replace them since I work so close to my house. I may try to replace them, or leave that up to you, with a discount of course)
Check Engine Light is intermittent. I'm in the process of fixing this, just looking for the time to do it.
Front Left turn signal is kinda dangling from the fender, haven't gotten around to fixing / replacing
body has dings and some dents.
paint is pretty much toast as well.

Feel free to email me or PM with questions, my price is $2800, negotiable. I don't check the site to often, so email / PM is best. Thanks for looking.

That's why it says negotiable. I set the price based on what I'm seeing in the area. When people are advertising automatic, single-cam cars for $2500, that gives me my starting point. Either negotiate with me, or mind your own business.

I think this is the last bump I get, anyway - throw some offers at me. I'm negotiable. (within reason)

Rather than start a new thread - I'm bumping AND reducing my price.

$2399, negotiable. I just don't have time for two cars right now.

Thanks,
C

Bump for quick sale. Just don't have time for project car.

PRICE REDUCED TO $2000 firm. Check engine light problem has gone away. I do have a brand new O2 sensor, and some other odds and ends that will go with the car.

Thanks,
C

All PM's have been replied to. A common question is about the CEL code. I'm not sure what code it was, because I never got around to checking it. I have a feeling it might have been coolant temp sensor, since the CEL went away shortly after I replaced that with a new unit.
