Yea I know that sounds weird...but today I saw a nice 2000 Ford Contour SVT. The car was simply dropped and had some NICE mesh rims. I'm starting to like that car because of its rarity and semi-euro look. I hear aftermarket support for them are WEAK....but having just rims and a drop will do it for me *cough*supercharger*cough*. i remember seeing on for sale at around $8000....and now it has me thinking. What do u guys think about that car?


note: I'm aware this is a 240SX, but atleast 10% can approve of a FF sedan (ie Mazda 6).

Have you, or anyone you know ever driven a Ford?

From my personal experience, and that of some of my friends, Fords are completely unreliable peices of ****. There is just no getting around that. I drove a 90 Ford Tempo for a short time in HS, my Friend has a late 80s Ford Bronco, and another had a 89 Taurus. Not a single one survived HS without having MAJOR work done on them.

This may be a quality control prob of the past, but I wil never buy a Ford again.

I used to like those cars along with the early 90s SHOs. They looked a hell of a lot better than the grocery-getter base models and came with 200hp. Personally, I can't see paying $8k for it though. I think R&T did a long term driving test on an SVT Contour, I'll see if I can dig it up.
