hi. i was just wondering if the KNN filter actually help in performance and if its really worth the money? i know that the filter is more free flowing, but is it worth the 31 bucks (at Kragen)? thanks.

im sure it does something for hp and torque. the aem gave a teg 8hp at the peak and like 5lb-ft of torque. every little bit helps right? 31 bucks aint too bad either

the aem intake or just an aem stock-sized filter gave 8hp??? I felt no difference when I put mine in and I took my resinator box off at the same time. It may give you a couple hp but nothing very noticable.

The main reasn you pay that for a K&N is b/c you never have to replace it. Million mile warranty.

when i put mine in it didn't seem to really gain any power, but the power didn't seem to drop off quite as bad up near redline, i'd say it's worth it

I had one, I think it mightve helped a bit, but nothing major. It is nice to never have to replace it, just spray it with the cleaning shit if it gets dirty.
