Seems like I'm getting my hands in one of them soon, so can you guys school me on them? Just general info, different versions of them...weak spots...etc?
For example, I have an e36 and the weak spots are bottom of the doors rust, suspension bushings, trunk lid, and VANOS solenoid.
I also live in Europe but spend most of my time in the US (where I will be buying this car), is there any euro spec parts better than american?
What about tuning these cars? How hard is it, for what it seems like, you only need a $50 chip?
Thank you all!

School yourself... hit up wikipedia or something. Plenty of info already ready for you to just find and read.
Search around on this forum and others.

Still looking, it doesn't really matter if the car is clean. But yeah, I like koukis the best.

Are all of them as easy to tune? I can't find this.
My friend has a 95, he bought a chip, installed it in the DME and can tune his car. Can I also do this with a 96,97 or 98?

lol chips.
I put a dorito in my ecu.
Dont buy a 240. You have a boosted E36, why would you go backwards?

Search. It'll take forever to "school" you on S13/S14's. There's a LOT to learn about them.
Read How-to's, write ups, look through people's build threads, so on and so forth.
