hey guys
i read that people use the seat belt anchor as a ground... well, i tried it out and my 4awg ring terminal has an opening of 5/16 and i measured the anchor bolt it is 1mm and i can't get it to fit.
probably a dumb question, but, where can i find an 1mm opening set screw terminal? i googled all over and can't find anything... was wondering how you guys did it
thanks a lot

Let me start by saying that I would suggest have a dedicated ground. Its not my car though, so do whatever you want. Now, If its only a small difference I would just drill out the ring terminal hole a bit.

i'm pretty sure this would be a dedicated ground though since there are no other electrical components grounded to it. hmmm good idea, i gotta look into that drill thing to bad my drilll bits arent that big =/

2nd rule of car audio: NEVER use an OEM bolt for a ground..... EVER!
Scrape/sand/grind the paint down to bare metal somewhere on the floor of the car and use your own screw/bolt to fasten it down. Obviously check for hazardous items on the underside of the metal you are about to fasten to.

That is what I meant by dedicated ground. Used for nothing else except a ground.
