From researching i have come up with the assumption that on a 16X7 a 38mm Rim offeset is good. Am i correct?

What exactly are you looking for? If you're looking for the wheels to be flush with the fenders, it wont be. I have 16x8's with a +26 offset and they're close to flush, but not completely. If you really want the 16x7's to be flush, i wouldnt get anything higher than +20. But again, it all depends on what you're looking for. Hope this helps.

stay away from 7 inch width wheels... i made the mistake and you can see it in my sig (i think). my shiz is so sunken its not funny.. you should go with atleast an eight inch width tire. if you're looking for clearance on brakes search for something along the lines of brake clearance or offsets. dousan will probably chime in here and set everything straight. if your looking for flushness i know you gotta have atleast a 8 inch width to come even close.

OMG!!!! are you retarded! hahha

7s are RAD
0 offset
7 offset
10 offset
15 offset

IT ALL DEPENDS ON OFFSET FOR FLUSHNESS/SUNKEN IN! NOT WIDTH!!!!

brake clearance. kosei K1..15x7 +27..clears coilovers AND z brakes (tt). i got those right now (for sale VERY soon)

you can have a 5" wheel with a PERFECT offset and be MORE flush tne your car

it alll depends on OFFSET NOT WHEEL WIDTH

i know i've covered this before....

So my offset will be just fine right?

Just fine for what?

Flush = No

Brake clearance = Offset doesn't play that big a role...if at all, it's all about spoke design.

Coilover clearance = i'm almost postive you wont even come close to clearing, but dont quote me on that.

It depends on what you're going for. :)

Well i do have coilovers, I am not for sure what the offset of my current wheels are but they are 17inch rims.
