I have a stock 1992 240sx coupe 5-speed, and heres what I wanted to know:
If I remove the catylitic converter, will my car shoot the flame balls that the turbo charged 240sx's do??
Really this is the same question, but can only the turbo 240sx's shoot the flames and the ka24de's can't? Is it possible for the ka24de to shoot flame balls?
Thanks.

yea man, i feel you. I took out my cat. and also threw a spark plug in my canister to try to have flames shoot out, but nuthin. Lemme tell you man, dont ever buy those flame thrower Kits that they sell to make flames shoot out of your exhaust. Cuz they sure dont work, its a waste of $75.
I tried everything nothing works. Maybe put a tad of gasoline in the piping but not too much to catch the ride on fire

i replaced my cat with a dump pipe, and it does pop on downshifting sometimes... so maybe it will shoot flames. my fourwheeler has an after market pipe thats basicaly a glasspack that will shoot out short flames at night..... according to my friends stories (im on it so i cant see the pipe). my best advice is to get your friends to watch you rev the sxit out of it in the dark an see what happens =D
