zerolift
Zerolift Auto S13 S14 240sx 1JZ 2JZ Mount Swap Kit: eBay Motors (item 170473431673 end time Aug-13-10 07:56:31 PDT) (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Zerolift-Auto-S13-S14-240sx-1JZ-2JZ-Mount-Swap-Kit-/170473431673?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories #ht_2075wt_939)
only cons i heard so far about the zerolift is that it puts the motor kindof forward and high. and the tech2 one puts it as far back and low as possible but i dont know what this would effect though.

With the Kit you will Recieve :
Left & Right Mount Brackets
Transmission Mount Bracket
Kits include:
Front Cross Member,
Transmission Cross Member,
Drive Shaft,
Motor Mounts,
Motor Mount Brackets,
Shifter Extension.
Kit includes a free copy our of 1JZ/2JZ Install DVD.
I say go with the tech2. you're going to need the tranny extension, and driveshaft anyways, and this route will ensure that there will be less of a frankenstein feel to your car. not all parts work as well as we would like to think.
price difference: huge
things included in kit: big difference aswell

Yea, but the huge difference in price doesn't constitute the difference in parts you get.
Zerolift is good shit.

the difference in kits does not equate to the 1200$ difference or whatever. a driveshaft can be made to order locally here for like....$150-200.

hmm thanks for all your feedback. well i am planning using it for track/drift. and well i was really considering getting the tech2 since it seems legit. but idk the zerolift one is so cheap. tempting. but does anyone know what the underhood bracing is?. it says i require i trim it in order to clear for the throttle body(this being needed for the zerolift kit)

and the tech2 one puts it as far back and low as possible but i dont know what this would effect though.
Con's are weight distribution, instead of having a super heavy front end, understeer FTL.
You want the motor low and as far back as possible so you can fit 3" downpipe's past the steering shaft.

I've been researching going 1Jz my self and this is what I've found.
Zerolift's mounts are great, an they're a vendor on here. The guy responds really quickly to PM's and was able to answer all of my swap questions. But, Zerolift only sells the mounts and driveshaft so it leaves the remainder of the swap open ended. For me this is good because it let's me source the remaining parts and build it as I'd like.
Tech2 offers everything you'd need for the swap so you know it's all going to work ahead of time. Not much figuring out needed. But, you pay for that.
Either way is a good option, personally I'm a bit biased towards Zerolift but that's because I'm mote of a DIY person.

wait what. so having it low and towards the back is going to give me understeer. ?

no the oppositte... low and to the back reduces understeer.
50/50 weight balance ftw

Can't comment on this swap specifically, but Zerolift has always treated me awesome with tech help and product info. When I need something, I call them first.
