ok its been a while since i posted, ive found quite a bit more since ive been researching. Anyways some thoughts came to mind. Im getting my Z next weekend woohoo, im going to swap the RB25det over the winter.
now some questions for wiring and some other odds and ends.
ok wiring since im going to be using a stand alone unit how important is it to keep the existing wiring harness from either the RB25det clip ( if i get one) or the 300ZXTT , i already have several mods from the Z that will i will be using z32 maf, intake, 740cc injectors, HKS turbo timer, HKS EVC1 (old school and simplicty at its best). HKS ingintion, exhuast (single outlet only). i imagine i will still need all the mounting and motor mount stuff, but as far as the choice between a clip or just a long block with tranny what should i go with i know with the clip i will have extras which is good but since i have to rule out some ohter factors im not sure if i will need the clip or just a motor with extras tough decision i guess so if any one could help me make this deciding factor that would be great. while im waiting for the motor, full paint job , interor swap, and suspension. until i get the motor i will be posting with pics eventually
