Hey, for awhile I've been running my AFM directly off the battery, connecting 1 wire to the +ve, 1 wire to the -ve and 1 to the body ground. Today I was reconnecting the wires(i disconnected them yesterday) but I accidently connected the +ve wire to the -ve terminal and the -ve wire to the +ve terminal. I tried starting my car, it tried to start, ran for a couple seconds, then died. I got out, noticed the faulty wiring, then i reconnected it the right way. I tried starting it again but this time it just kept cranking without turning over, and thats all it does now. What could the prob lem be? I know if you have a faulty AFM the car will still run, just really bad. Is it likely that since I added +ve charge to the -ve wire that I zapped my AFM part of the ECU? Or is it possible that a bad AFM would cause my car to not start(if it was bad enough). I disconnected my AFM but the problem still persists. If anyone can help in any way. Please let me know. Thanks a bunch.
