Ok here is my question, if you are to get rearended and minor damage was done to the bumper, does the reinforcement bar work anymore, or would a new one have to be purchased?????

If the reinforcement bar is damaged (as it is intended to be in a collision) then it should be replaced with an undamaged one.

Just give it a good going over, if it's severely bent or cracked or damaged it may be worth it to get a new one. I wouldn't recommend removing it on a dd since that bar is basically what makes your bumper a bumper; otherwise, if someone rear ends you they are running into the much softer parts of your car and will probably cost you more in damages to other things.

its good still on the car alittle faded paint wise but hey its free haha and ya no dents no dents just gonna scrap the car anyways so the way i see it might as well give stuff away instead of letting them melt it at the scrapper.
