This is a large metal computer with a pentium 3 and a touchscreen. It is running windows 98 currently and the username is "preferred customer".
Any ideas about the specific purpose of this comp. Someone told me it was a diagnostics machine???

hmmm?, so did it fall off a truck?:eek3d:
you can also try to take it apart and see if you can find any model numbers or manufacturer names inside.

Took it all apart. Installed linux on a separate hard drive and messed around. We got it from a tenant who didn't pay his rent and then split town. No model numbers. Motherboard is an Endat 3702. This thing is very peculiar.

If my memory serves me right, that's called a Unicorn Workstation. They didn't catch on too well but they were used on a lot of medical equipment in the mid to late 90s.
