I recently finished my hot rod and I also have a 350z and an Evo so something had to give. This is my 3rd 240sx and I dearly love these cars but I'm out of room and had to prioritize a bit. I Know I'm not gonna remember everything so Please ask!
-1995 SE, clean title, NJ inspection good for another year, 111xxx miles
-5 speed swap from an s13
-Rebuilt KA/head; 8.8:1 Arias pistons, JGS turbo setup, T3/TO4E .63, only about 10,000 miles on rebuild
-JWT ecu, 75lb Precision injectors, z32 MAF, SAFCII
-Walbro pump, Adjustable FPR, Big canister style fuel filter
-Mitsubishi BOV recirced
-Custom Magnaflow exhaust with high flow cat - Very mellow
-AEM wideband, Phantom boost/oil gauges, Greddy EBC
-AGX struts, TEIN lowering springs ( I would suggest new rear struts as I think these might be blown... it rides fine and I drove it like this. It's just very soft in the rear)
-Battery and fuse box in trunk
-CEL light is on (throwing auto ECU codes), it occasionally throws a knock sensor code. I have no idea why as this engine is rock solid and never pings or detonates.
The previous owner had the engine built. I don't know that it was ever put on a dyno but it pulls hard and this setup could easily make 320hp. Plus gotta love the low end torque of the KA.
Car runs very well, tuned conservatively, I drove it daily at 7psi, LSD works well. Heat and PS steering work, No AC although I have everything to put it back in. The interior is in good shape, No busted panels, no tears in fabric.
-The exterior is ok... The drivers side is near perfect but the passenger side has some damage at the front of the door and the rocker panel is pushed in. it could really use a new fender and the front and rear bumpers have some scratches. I have a nice set of matching kouki skirts to go with it. It also has a small rust hole by the sun roof (sun roof works well).
It has a cheap CD player which works fine but I think only the rear speakers work.
The wheels on the back are Evo VIII. There are other wheels I might throw in (350z wheels or mustang 5 spokes???)
There is a smal oil leak from the upper timing cover. - For some reason the shop that built the engine left the upper timing guides in and I took them out. I must not have put enough RTV on there when I put it back together.
I think there is a very slow leak from the trans. 2nd gear will occasionally grind when it's cold.
I know there is a lot I'm forgetting so please don't hesitate to pm me or whatever. I'm an honest guy and a die hard motor head. I take good care of my cars and I'm not looking to rip anyone off. I drive (within reason) to show the car. I WILL post more pics soon!!
