lol. I hate VGs. Began a new project today. Completely gutted the Z32 stem to stern.

Adding to our democar collection with a very unique swap. From V6 to an in line six with turbo(s) :rawk:

All sound deadending is gone, all interior panels are gone, only thing left is a dash and steering wheel.

All the seams will be welded and we are making lightened suspension pieces for what we can't get ahold of.

Add to that carbon doors, fenders, hood, hatch, and the Z should shed alot of weight with the VG out of the picture. I can't wait to cornerweight it after the motor is in.

It's great being on Gasoline Alley can we can walk across the street and get any tuning piece imaginable made :D

We're building it so I can get back into the drifting competitons going on in California.

Not going for big power figures, focusing more on handling, and a useable powerband. Should end up around 350 to the wheels.

Anyways just thought I'd share since I'm bored off my arse.

Actually, a friend of mine was doing an RB on Z32 not too long ago. It should be close to completion by now.

It took me 3 hours to change out a radiator hose yesterday in my Z
I was getting mad ****ed at my car that day, they really crammed that engine in there.

no, JGTC cars use VQ30DETT's.

Have you ever worked on a Z32? It's ****ing hell. I have nightmares about that god damned intake plenum. Everything is so damn cramped.

Add to that the fact that the motor I'm putting in is a hell of alot lighter and will help improve the cars agility.

Plus maintenance will be far easier. If the motor goes it's cake to pull it, rebuild it and drop it back in:)

Pulling the motor out of a Z32 is like trying to take a Weiner away from Andy Dick :bash:

They are hell to work on. And prices for performance parts seem to cost a lot more than they should, compared to the supra and 3000gt. I still love the Z though even with the VG.
