View Full Version : Can't get enough front + Camber

I just finished installing these new Stance LX+ coilovers on my S14. About an inch lower then the car was before, but even with the top camber plates to their max + adjustment it still has way too much negative camber (for my tastes at least). I thought upper camber plates solved this problem? What gives?

Looks to be about -3.5 degrees. I'm not going to bother getting it on the machine until I can straighten this up some. Its street car.

S14 chassis. Stock S14 LCAs.

i notice the stance pillow mounts have more camber than my PBM. weird...but something just doesnt sound right with it maxed for positive camber and its at -3.5 !

I suppose I could take the top mounts off and mill more clearance into them, but thats not exactly something I expected to do after spending $1200 and waiting for 5 months to get them. I'm fairly certain nothing is wrong with my chassis (i even used brand new bolts/nuts) and the Tein Driftmasters I had on there before even had extra room for more + adjustment and the camber was fine then. I don't even think getting adjustable LCAs would even help.

i have the same coilover and when i max out the camber i get it around -1.0 to -1.2. here is the picture. how low did you lower your car ???

sometimes the top bolt hole for the 2 spindle holes is ovalated on the top for more camber ... im not sure how the stance's are but thats how my tein's are ... so you can max+ camber the top hat and still be in the - ....... you could give that a check

I'm lowered about an inch lower. So yeah I guess this makes sense. Too low.

See how your rear wheelgap is lower then the front? Yeah I don't like that. I don't want this extra negative camber because its tucking my wheels and I don't want to raise the car up really either.

I guess I will raise the the car up some. I'm scraping speedbumps with my exhaust anyway.:ghey:
