A couple of Nissan SR20's would pull a premium one week before race wars.

Haha^

Id say taken into consideration that the tranny whines, but you have an S15 turbo (im assuming its an S13 blacktop), id say its worth somewhere around $2200-2400. A stock blacktop is worth like 2000-2200, the turbo is worth like 500. Thats $2700, minus around $250 to replace the trans (because I know if I was buying the swap, id be trashing that trans anyway).

Thats with the assumption that everything else is in working order.

Yes everything is in working order. Its still in the car as we speak and I drive it when the weather is nice. It pulls nice and hard in full boost on 13 lbs.

Yeah, if i was buying, id probably say 2200-2400.

If I was selling, Id probably list it at 2700.

Take pictures of you doing a compression test on each cylinder.

That, coupled with a walkaround video, an in car video, and an out of car (bystander) video, should all make it much easier to sell. The in car video will give a good idea of how bad the tranny whines. The more confidence you can instill in a buyer, the quicker youll sell it.

Yeah thats definitely a good thing to have... Buyers always love compression numbers, and being able to see/hear the motor run is always huge when buying a motor.

My motor is an '89 Redtop, a motor that I never wouldve considered for my '98 car simply due to its age. But when I saw it running in my buddies S13, i completely changed my mind. A picture of a motor sitting on a pallet doesnt mean jack compared to a video or compression numbers. glws. :)

Oh dear.. You'd be lucky to get $1200-1500 considering it would need a rebuild and whatever other problems to be found

GLWS!!

LOL thats terrible. Your best bet would be parting the swap. Sell the head complete, the block as is, and everything else individually. Unfortunately that block needs a rebuild, so id say aero is about right at $1500 or so if its all sold together.

Just off the top of my head, heres what you can expect if you part it

Block $200
Head $250?
Turbo $450
Maf $100
Injectors $200
Clutch $100
Trans $100?

Thats 1400.

I also think you did your compression check wrong, thats like, a dead motor. And the transmission seems like it's going out as well...I wouldn't expect much at all if thats really the right numbers
