could anyone tell me what thread, pitch, and size bolts i would need to buy from the Depot to put my spare KA on an engine stand?

2 or 3 should work from the transmission.

If not take those to HD

The thread is M10 x 1.5.. I think I used 100mm bolts plus washers for mine from home depot.. Just do a few quick measurements of the engine stand and thread depth to find the length you need.. all engine stands may not be the same..

when I had to get some for my LS1 i just took a transmission bolt to a harware store went from there and just matched it

and make sure you no less than grade 8

Btw, Grade 8 only refers to English measurements and you can't get any higher.. 12.9 is the top grade for metric.. You would probably have to go to Fastenal or something to get 12.9 metric bolts.. Even then you might have to order them.. I used w/e homedepot had which I think was 8.8.. My engine stayed put with everything on including the stock intake mani fully loaded and exhaust mani with a big turbo.. The bolts looked just fine after...

Yeah, I got mine from Lowe's and they are 8.8. They are holding up my ls1 as we speak.

i just used 4 of my tranny bolts to hold my Sr and i did the same for a Ka i rebuilt.

just use tranny bolts, or match them...

is it that hard to figure out?
