Ok so on the intake manifold is the Ideal air control. Now I was going thur my wiring harness and the purple plug wires were never going to anything, they just ended half way in the harness. Now im sure this is why my car ideals from 600 rpm up to 1200rpm like if it had a vacuum leak ( there are no vacuum leaks just did a boost leak test yesterday). So off of the purple connector coming off the ideal air control there is a orange wire and a blue/red wire. Now on the s15 pin out there are NO places for these wires to go. My question is how do I hook up this connector????

Heres the pic of where the connector goes on the engine. sorry for the bad pic.

That purple connector is for the A/C for the "idle up"
Its a little electromagnet so it doesnt matter which wire goes where.

I'd remove the cylinder and make sure the plunger is not stuck in the open position (which would make the engine idle high)

you dont have to remove the whole IACV
you can just take off the pupple plug cylinder (it unscrews) and you an check of the pluger moves freely.
becareful though when you unscrew it the pluger and spring might fall out.

Ok still have the prob after changing the iacv. Does anyone think that the car being off timing would make it idle all fucked up??
