Hey guys I have a 90 FB and I am have a starting problem. Almost every time got to start it up it makes a chick sound every time I try to turn it over. It does this anywhere from twice to ten times before it will turn over. Sometimes it turns over on the first try. I have changed the starter and the ignition switch and both are brand new units NOT reman's. Any ideas?

I assume you mean click sound?
I'd double check your battery connections. Is there alot of corrosion around them? Are your battery cables tight?

I'd also replace your EFI relay and your Fuel pump relay. They are green relays right by your battery.

Yeah it makes a click sound terminals are clean and tight as well. I will try the relay's. Thanks man:)

definitely sounds like relays, poor engine grounds, poor battery ground to chassis, or poor connection from battery to starter. clean, check, and tighten all of these connections.

also maybe the ignition switch.

also maybe the ignition switch.

Dude as it says the ignition switch is new. To all others thanks for input I'll try those things out. The ground from the battery to the chassis is new as well and all connections are clean and tight. Battery has been tested as well and was ok its only about 9 months old.
